Yes, Indeed I know of it. And I haven't updated my journal in awhile, so I thought "eh, what the hell."

So, I think I'll peg down a couple new things first. Most importantly, I bought myself a car recently. Yes, a car. I paid for it all in cash, no loans, a total of roughly $1,400. Of course, I bought it off of my mom, but I know that the thing runs well. Ironically, I don't have my license yet; got my permit, but not my license. Hey, I'm still driving around a little bit, though. The only times I drive unaccompanied is when I go down to the restaurant where my mom works for dinner, which is roughly 2 blocks away from the house. But I'm hoping to have my license by the end of the month. Oh, and the car I bought is a 99' Chevy Malibu.

Next up, and this one isn't in stone or anything, but I was ironically offered a position of making illustrations for some kid's book. Now, don't jump the gun here because the person who offered it to me was one of my mom's friends. She made her own kid's book and wants to get it published. She's seen some of my work and wants me to make the pictures of the book for her. I don't know how well it'll work out or if we even do this at all, but it'll be a lot of fun and I'd be willing to give it a try. I should be getting a rough-draft of the book sometime soon, then I'll start working on a number of basic things and taking it from there.

In other news, I had a copy of Pokemon Heart Gold imported last month as a birthday present to myself. 21 years of age now, y'know. Yet instead of partying and getting wasted, I got myself a Japanese Pokeymans game. I don't drink or anything since I really hate the stuff, so I live a dull life. But the game is a lot of fun! I've already beat all 16 gyms (8 for Johto, and then the 8 Kanto gyms), beat the Elite 4, beat Red, ect. ect. They did very well with this game and I'm pleased with it. When it hits the US, I'll be buying Soul Silver. I wonder if the PokeWalk will come with that as well?
